Coal Based Granular Activated carbon is made from coal or anthracite.Coal or anthracite will be put into pulverizer or crusher to processed into powder at first. Afterthat, these powder as material will be carbonized and activated in furnace at 850 ~ 950 ºC. Finally, these coal based granular activated carbon will be selected by sieves of different type and sold to our clientsaccording to their different requirements of size.
With high strength, our activated carbon granules is durable. And because of the small holesseparated in it regularly, it can adsorb macro-molecules of odors, or other kinds of hazardoussubstances quickly in quantity. When it is exposed in air, or air currents blow through it,macro-molecules of poisonous gases will remain in these holes. This principle is also the reason whyit is as carrier for many catalysts, and generally used in the chemical industry.
